Laiki account and data deletion
Laiki, published by JJ LIN DEV, lets signed-in users delete their account and request deletion of specific data.
Delete your entire account
The fastest method is in the Laiki app:
- Open Me.
- Open Data management.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
If you cannot use the app, email privacy@laiki.app with the subject Delete Laiki account. Include your Laiki @handle, whether you signed in with Apple or Google, your device type, and your approximate last-use time. Support verifies account ownership before deletion.
Deletion removes the account identifier, @handle and display name, friend and circle relationships, events and participant data, responses and check-ins, notification-device data, and saved personal trips. Live locations that were not explicitly saved are not retained after the room ends.
Delete specific data without deleting the account
Email privacy@laiki.app with the subject Laiki data deletion request. Identify the data to delete, such as a saved trip, event, circle, friendship, display name, or support record, and include your Laiki @handle and sign-in provider so ownership can be verified. Laiki will delete eligible data or explain any legal or operational retention requirement.
Retention after deletion
Most account and user-created data is deleted after verification. Minimum protected purchase-check records may be retained for up to 180 days to reconcile refunds or revocations, prevent duplicate handling, and resolve disputes. Closed support-case identifying details are removed within 90 days; de-identified outcomes may be kept for up to 180 days. Store providers may retain transaction records under their own legal obligations.
Never email a password, one-time code, full identity document, full payment-card number, or store-account password.
